Only if it's cash does it have to be reported geez people. You can buy a ferrari with cash and it won't be an issue. I just use a bank draft as it is less issues

well if his assumptions were right, and I did make that money by slangin crack or cooking meth or something, then once I put enough down to notify the IRS, there would be absolutely no car sale for him, I would be in jail, and he would make nothing... lol. That was the sort of vibe I got from him, but I know I'm blowing it out of proportion haha...

edit: oh and sorry for thread jacking crucifer.... lol, You have the better story anyway.

Yeah I figured i'd dump a CF hood on it to give it a kick cause i really do not like Si front end stock and red just kept looking better each CF hood RR Si i saw

Plus for a show car anything bright and flashy usually is what the camera crews like to snap a pic of.

to the 10,000 dollar thing most Banks will actually stop transactions of 5,000 or more and you have to call in and go through a verification process to ensure that you are the owner of the money. I know this because of when we bought my Big Screen TV had to go through the ordeal.

All kind of money trip ups on the way to buying expensive things.

Yup, Daily limits varies bank to bank.

I spent like $4k on my way from Georgia to Cali, stopping different places. My bank blocked my card because they thought someone stole it and was just going on a trip. Embarassing having to call the bank at 2am from a gas station for getting declined trying to buy a bottle of Gatorade.

We were test-driving a new Ford F-150 back in the late 90's, and the salesman said he needed to pick some things up from the store. He actually asked me to drop him off at Wal Mart, drive the truck around for a while, then pick him back up and take him back to the dealership.

I just turned it around and took him and the truck back to the dealership.

lol... wow... that coulda been fun though. If he was a sleazy sales man, I would have left him at Wal Mart. And if not, I would have just done donuts in the parking lot till he came back.

LOL should have done it, then drove back to the dealership. When they asked where the salesmen went, just say "ah he must have fallen out when I took that corner at 60mph"

When I went to test drive my first Si (at a used dealership) the saleslady was afraid of small cars, so she let me take it out on my own. It was great.

the only thing anyone let me take by myself was that tc lol.... Sadly it wasn't that much fun... I was trying really hard too. Sorta felt like a rent car to me. And that was pretty much the deciding factor.

tC's do handle damn good though. And suprisingly, the Corolla S handles about the same as my old FG2

Would of returned the Truck left the guy at Wal Mart when the Salesman calls you up and asks why you left him there I'd of said:

"I did what you asked I test drove it around a while hated it took it back and went next door and bought a Honda."

I've been allowed to test drive every car i've owned alone without the sales guy the way they have it setup now you granny it because of the info they have on you.

With simple mods they pull hard too....almost all youtube videos of Si's vs Tc's the TC either wins or its a DEAD heat.

not to mention with TC's wide engine bay and the ability to get a TT in there is amazing.

I'd get one if the interior wasn't absolutely horrific. But if they came with a stock turbo and was 23,000 i wouldn't be here talking about the Si.
