Need help picking parts

I have a 2008 Civic Hybrid, and am interested in having Custom Lightz do a HID retrofit. My main concern is that I want this to look OEM. I am pretty new to HID, and need help picking the right parts.

1. Most people with 2006+ Civics seem to be using the TSX or S2000 projectors, but what is the difference? Why would I want one over the other?

2. Shroud - whats the ideal shroud for an OEM look?

3. What have you guys been doing for replacement headlights? I suppose I could buy some cheap headlights on eBay to use while the originals are being retrofitted, but then I hate to do that because I don't really have a need for an extra set of headlights.

4. How long would you estimate it would take to install the headlights - ie take off the bumper, etc?

5. How common is it for people to retrofit the hi-beams too?

Thanks!

1. Different cutoffs and I believe one of the lenses on one of them is color tinted
2. OEM look and to dress it up a little and cover up the projector
3. not sure what you do while yours are getting fixed
4. I'd say no longer than 45 min because it didn't take me long to get bumper off.

Perhaps I can be of some help here.

Qued setups are becomming more and more popular. Perhaps not in the 8th Civic world, but we are doing a few each month, and it's climbing.

As far as shrouds, I think the MDX shroud looks the most OEM for the 8th Civic. Crossfire shrouds, and CTR shrouds would look OEM as well. The S2000 shrouds look OEM too, but a little less than the MDX in my opinion.

It takes us about a week to retrofit your headlights, but it may be shorter or longer depending on whether you are coming to our shop, and if we happen to have a lot of customers at the moment.

We do have "loaner" headlights, which we can send to you, so you can still drive around while we are working on your headlights. As long as you are willing to send the "loaner" headlights to the next man in line, we are cool.

Hope this answers some of your questions
Bjorn
