Okay guys. Bjorn and Rich have been VERY busy lately. Last time I checked, they both have been feeling ill recently within the past few weeks and have had to take some time off for themselves to recover. Obviously you guys have noticed that Bjorn especially hasn't spent as much time as he would like with his 8thcivic buddies. What you guys should do is the call the Custom Lightz number, and leave a message saying what your intent is and how they can contact you. That way, they'll try to contact you in a timely fashion.
Sorry for the inconvenience but give Bjorn a few more days. He needs to take care of some personal issues first. When he's done with what needs to be taken care of, he'll be back on 8thcivic as much as he was before. Everyone just hang on tight! It'll be worth it. Trust me. I'm waiting on Custom Lightz as well. |

I can loan you my headlights, if you have a coupe, so you won't be without lights. I just request a deposit, and your paying for shipping back and forth.
What questions did you have, also? I'll try to answer them, or any of the real retrofit gurus.

What questions do you have regarding the retrofit/retrofitting process? I'm sure Izzy can help you answer them! (haha)
As for downtime without headlights. You can either try to find someone to lend you a set of headlights to run around with while your headlights are being retrofitted or you can buy some eBay headlights to hold you over during the process. That way, you'll appreciate the retrofits so much more. Comparing the eBay headlight cutoffs with the projector retrofit cutoffs will be a world of difference. |

The shroud essentially covers up the projector housing, and is there for cosmetic reasons. With the MDX shrouds, you'll need to get a secondary rear shroud, as it's too small to fully cover up the projector.
What do you mean by, "what projects"?

With a quad set-up you know you'll be running about $1200, right? IIRC, that's without bulbs and ballasts.
If you want something "good", get some S2000 projectors or FX projectors and TSX clear lenses, put them on your lowbeams and call it a night. If you want something showy, then a quad projector set-up with turn signal projectors would be your thing. But, you will be spending lots of dough on it. Labor alone on getting a quad set-up is 450 bucks. Turn signals will be an extra $50 (or $130 for everything, which I assume includes bulbs and the projectors for the turn signal itself). Shroud extension (if you get the MDX shrouds) are a further $60. Color modding to get that extra color if you want is also $30, and there's two "options". So that's another $60 for each set. LOL. Right there is $760 before the hardware. LOL. Then you need two pairs of shrouds, two projectors, four ballasts, four D2S bulbs. As far as color, you can simply ask Bjorn to either paint your housings black (to get rid of the reflective bits, which I did) or whatever you want.

Let's just say, for a quadruple retrofit with the following options: color modded both projectors, blue ccfl all around, and projector turn signals, you're looking at about $900+ for labor alone. That, added to the price for all of the parts, assuming you're going TSX/FX setup, will be roughly $1400+ OTD.
