Comptech SC Hondata reflash

Hey guys,
I put this question up on Hondata's forum but I'm thinking you might have come across it.

I hate to link to another site but my question for them is below.

(from: Hondata :: View topic - 06+ Civic Si Hondata reflash upgrade)

Quote:
Hello,
I currently have an 07 Si with the N/A reflash. I'm looking at picking up a Comptech SC in the near future and I'd hate to pay for the reflash twice.

I've seen the following on the reflash page(http://hondata.com/reflash_06_civicsi.html):

What if if I later want to upgrade to forced induction?

If Hondata has an reflash upgrade specific to a forced induction kit, there will be a $200 upgrade plus shipping and handling.

________

Would there be a way to work out a deal (i.e. take the $400 off) since the Comptech SC price includes the SC reflash?

Thank you very much in advance!

Doesn't look like it, take a look at the thread. Hondata :: View topic - 06+ Civic Si Hondata reflash upgrade

Pretty crappy...I'm excited to see how he answers my response

I bought the NA reflash on the premise that upgrades would be discounted:

Well I'm deciding on going FI and they have a FI flash. Why can't they help me out?

Not sure, hard to say much and not sound really bad about hondata.

I hear ya man. It just blows my mind that I'm basically begging them to take my business and they don't want it. I planned on getting the stand alone thing they're supposedly coming out with, but I'm afraid to get the same BS runaround.

I was think about the same thing cause I have the reflash and was thinking about going S/C eventually but I didn't just want to throw away money.I thought about buying another ECU sending that out to Hondata and just sell my original ECU that I got reflashed

Look at the hondata thred in the orignal post. They yanked me around and never really answered the question. Terrible customer service skills. I now will be looking for an alternative to Hondata. I'm hoping we can get Cobb to make something for us.
