Hondata Reflash

I see that there is a groupbuy for the Hondata Reflash For k20z3 in the 8thcivic store. The question that I have is where is the Hondata dealer that this is contracted with?

I live in Southern California near Hondata, and so I'm curious where I would need to send my ECU. If it's outside the state, it'd be faster and possibly cheaper for me to go with a local dealer.

webby IS the dealer. It'd make more sense for you to just go through a local shop.

So I send the ECU direct to Hondata with that form, or do I send it to Webby? I'm sorry if I'm asking somewhat obvious questions, but I was under the impression that you send the ECU to the dealer who then sends it on to Hondata as a middleman.

The only thing you send Webby is payment. He then forwards payment info to Hondata via e-mail (saying that you paid). All you do is send the ECU and the form (which you should've filled out) directectly to Hondata. The address is at the top of the form. Once Hondata receives it, they then contact dealer to verify, reflash it, then sends it back to you.

No...Hondata does not deal with the public. So they have a middleman who takes the payment, but they give you the product. It works almost like an Escrow service....

...or the Mob.

Like they said...

you just put your order in through the store. The info gets sent to hondata that you've paid etc. You print out the sheet that is highlighted - print and send with your ECU.

That paper filled out gets send to hondata - the address is on the sheet. Send the sheet with your ECU directly to hondata.

You are in charge of shipping the item to hondata. If you want it there next day - you'll have to take it to fedex/ups/usps or whatever and ship it out.

when you buy the item in the store - you're paying for how you want hondata to send the package BACK to you. So if you want them to send it back to you overnight, pick overnight. If you just want ground - pick that.

PM me if you have any more questions.

That would be Honda, not Hondata.

Please PM Webby -- I do not have any idea what happened prior to us taking over this store forum.

are you talking about ecu reflash from the actual honda dealer? Hondata is different from Honda.

I believe you are thinking of the RSX-S reflash. I think they lean out because they use a MAP sensor. We have a MAF sensor
