Ingalls "Stiffy" ETD Power-Stick vs Ingalls "Stiffy" ETD??

I was searching the Corsport website and I cant seem to figure out what the different between these two products is...

anyone?

CorSport Online Store: Honda - 06+ Civic - 93038

CorSport Online Store: Honda - 06+ Civic - 93184

Its got to be something obvious that im missing... besides the $40 price different

One is adjustable the other one isn't. The ETD is made for launches for the most part. The power stick causes more vibration since it isn't adjustable but it's what I'm using and it's great for me Less wheel hop and less loss of traction on fast shifts.

the second one is referred to a powerstick, it will replace that whitish dog bone looking arm that is holding the motor mount and keeping it balance. they both works pretty similar, and they both add vibration.

I see, so obviously the adjustable one would be a better option, no?

Hmm... based on RyRy's post... wouldnt they both replace the same thing? They just function differently?

_______________

Hows the relative ease of install on one of these bad boys?

It all depends on the usage... If you launch a lot.. i would go for the ETD... if not.. the power stick does a great job nope.. they don't replace the same thing. The power stick replaces the stock dog bone while the ETD is an added item to further decrease wheel hop and engine movement.

Installation is incredibly easy for the power stick. only 3 bolts hold in the stock bone.. just make the power stick the same length as the stock unit and bolt back in.

Interesting... so you could theoretically use both of these items? I dont launch and awful lot... but I like the idea of my engine not moving as much as it currently does when launching/shifting, etc.

Good to know... so the power stick install is easy. i assume this is not the case for the adjustable ETD?

nope they don't replace the samething, they both were claim to reduce engine vibration and wheel hops.

Yes.. you can use both and if im not mistaken.. they've fixed the issue with the bracket not fitting when having both installed.

I can't speak on the ETD because I don't have it... but it doesn't look bad.

thats sort of what i was thinking. im gonna get a header eventually, and i know one of the nice things about this is that with the engine not moving as much... you dont stress the bolts/flanges of the header/exhaust

heres some pics. give me a while to upload the videos.

lots of vibration with this setup, but you get used to it after a while.

Vids here.

Mods: Toque Damper, Engine Damper (powerstick), P2R spacer with gasket and a Homemade Ice box

Sound similar to stock from the camera, but totally louder and better in real life.

enjoy.

the powerstick give you more vibration at lower rpm, but not during idle mode. the ETD doesn't give you that much vibration.
