^totally, I think the ETD's are the single best FWD mod out there.

The new ETD's come with the revised brackets correct.

on the ETD, the vibration is only at start up, and while its warming up. Mines set at 13mm which is right in the middle from stiffest to softest. Can't tell a difference during normal day to day driving.

When the AC is on you can fee the vibration a bit more. I've launched with mine and there is no wheel hope what-so-ever.

I think the powerstick is a little more extreme that the ETD, it totally replaces the dogbone and does not dampen anything, thus you get more vibration in the car.

A quick question as I have been considering this mod as well. I have race-headers currently on the car with vibrant exhaust and the setup is already pretty loud. Will I really notice added sound with an ETD(likely not powerstick) or just feel the vibrations?

it shouldnt change the sound at all. its just going to prevent the engine form moving as much within the engine bay

Question....what did you guys torque the bolts down to on the stock dog-bone? (lb/ft). In the directions it says to check with Honda.

The ETD gets a clicking noise when it is cold out untill it warms up. That is the only issue I had, and it didnt really help with wheep hop.

you can always use under hood sound deadening products to reduce vibrational noise. I used some underneath both ETD brackets and around the holes where the ETD attaches.

I bought both, and the powerstick was to much for me. My dash was rattling like crazy with the powerstick. I love the TD, rides just like stock even set at 11mm, and there is minimal wheel hop. Im not sure if I want to keep the powerstick for track days, since it is so easy to install, or if I want to sell it. If anyone has a solution to the problem Im all ears. I dont mind the vibs at all, but I cannot stand my dash vibrating like it was at low RPMs and at the catching point.

This is straight from Ingalls website at 06 Civic SI Powerstick

This Power Stick™ is designed for high HP vehicles,
built for extreme use or race only.
It is NOT recommended for the daily driver/street only vehicle.
The stiffness of this mount will increase the transfer of
engine vibration and noise.

If you're getting much in the way of knock with the ETD I suggest you might want to check your setting. Make sure all of the locknuts are secured and the damper length matches up with the holes. Mine is adjusted to 12mm and I'm having absolutely no problems, knocks, etc. I did have to modify the lower (engine) bracket so it didn't interfere with the threaded stud (minor machine work). I don't even notice the extra engine noise that transmits through the firewall anymore, though I'm sure I'd notice it if I pulled the damper off (which is super easy to do).

Did you get an answer to this? Off the top of my head it was 52 and 47 but I can look it up in my service manual if you still need it.

Okay .. so I just ordered the Throttle body spacer, and 2 gaskets. From Corsport .. end of the month im getting the intake manifold gasket, and either the ETD, or the power stick .. im thinking the ETD will be better first .. but the question I have about this is ..

Even though they are two seperate things .. do they do the same thing ? Are they both for launching ?? if not ... then lets say the ETD is for launching .. what is the power stick for ?? what kind of perfromance will this give me .. obviously it should be better perfromance .. but what exactly is it going to do for me ? ,, and if I get both .. im assuming they will work in conjuction and give me even better performance .. I dont care how much vibration there is .. or any type of noise .. I just want some actual performance.

You will see increased ability to launch without wheel hop -- you will see better braking and better acceleration as well.

Yes you can use both, thats what I would rock in my FG if I had one.

Tai I heard that this makes the car vibrate more for daily driving and kinda makes daily driving suck a little bit lol.

Any insight?

As with ANY suspension, chassis stiffening or motor stiffening modification you will notice a decrease in the smoothness, softness and quietness of your formerly stock car.

Hope that helps,
Tai

Thanks alot I really apreciate the quick feedback !! Now I just got to find a place that sells a flex rad hose .. for my Injen CAI.. its already touching the rad hose and the intake heats up alot because of it. When I put the spacer on there its gonna be too tight.
