Do you need camber corrections for all suspension?

Just wondering if you need the camber corrections for all performance suspensions?

The HFP suspension apparently doesn't require it.

Well that depends. When you drop the car you should really get it aligned regardless of how low the drop is. It seems that if you drop the car less then 1.5" you should be able to have the alignment in spec without a camber kit whereas when you drop the car more then that it requires an aftermarket camber kit to get the proper alignment.

unfortunately the camber is non-adjustable in stock form.

but as mentioned above, if it's a slight drop (less than 1.5") you
should be fine just getting the toe aligned.

waiting for more people to do the HFP sus.

MEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Just waiting for the day $600 for springs and dampers ain't half bad, plus it's under warranty (unlike the rest of my car hehe...)

2" or more usually requires a camber kit.

The Si only needs the camber kit for the rear right, the front stays in check after lowering?

how much drop are you thinking about doing? the neg camber increases
(negatively) as you lower your car.

wat is Honda's range for rear camber acceptable tolerance? Finding
that out is your first task, i suppose. your dealer and your local tire
shop that has an alignment machine should have that info.

The front camber does not get affected as much as the rear on our
sus when lowered...but toe could be another story.

Yea, I think they're definitely necessary on our cars.

I put my TEIN S.Tech's on yesterday and my rear has quite a bit of negative camber. (BTW My car looks 100% better) I don't see these tires lasting more than 10k more unless i use a camber kit.

Are there any other brands available? These are pretty pricey compared to my whole suspension drop.

Yep, I'd definately use 'em, save your tires.

Eibach, SPC and Comptech are all made by SPC -- the Ingalls kits arent out yet -- the $265 spc ones are the best bet.

Are you sure about this? Isn't Eibach based in Europe and has been an independent company for the longest time time now? The same with Comptech, they've been in the market for 20 years and I don't think they have any affiliation with The SPS Group, which just started in 1995.

Please correct me if I'm wrong..

According to my Comptech/Eibach Distributor they are Spc 06 si arms (He says you can look at them and simply tell) merely put in a new box. (Eibachs are even the same part number 67460)

He could be full of shit, its possible, but I doubt it.

I can't really understand your answer, but I still think they have nothing to do with each other.

What I said:
1) I was told by a distributor that Eibach and Comptech 06 rear arms are made by SPC
2) That distributor says you can open the boxes, look at the products and tell that they are the SPC arms.

Im not talking about Eibach and Comptechs entire product line being made by SPC, just the 06 si rear arms ---

^SPC (linked FROM the SPC site)

^comptech (linked FROM the Comptech site)

Proof is in the pudding, too bad I cant find any eibach pics.

I am not here to bullshit anyone, why would I want to make this up?

I never said you were bullshiting anyone..

I simply asked based on what you wrote..having owned products from these three companies, I thought you were mistaken..and did not realize you were only talking about the rear arms.

Anyway, as you can see they are all the same.
