Door Sill Protectors

Any body know where I can get nice Door Sill Protectors for a 2006 Civic Coupe (Si)
I am new to the Honda world. I am a Corvette owner that decided to buy an Si to play around with. I love this little car.

We have tons of parts available from plenty of vendors for the Corvettes, but I can't seem to find much (hardly anything) available for the Honda's.

Can you guys help steer me in the right direction for where I can buy cool things for my Si.

These cars really need Door Sill Protectors right away. I could make them I guess, but would rather buy something made specifically for the car..

Thanks

My Si =========> 2006 Rallye Red Si

i just got a quote from a guy locally. he said he could make me three sets at 65.00 CAD + 14% tax for the group of three.

apparently he would use the same amount of heavy duity brushed stainless vynil material for one as he would for three.

Im going to get a set of these made from a bud who owns a metal shop

except with the "Civic" writing on it.

just an fyi jason won't be around for a week or two, but we tried a few local shops and none of them were willing to do it b/c of the copyright on "civic" and "si". We are still look for a shop that may do it under the table.

Try over at TOV. One of the guys is actually working with Honda to get them done. No copyright to block him. He sent me an email with an update last week but I can't remember where I saved it. I'll see if I can find it.

Has he actually updated that thread though? I didn't think there was anything new with that in the last few weeks.

Ugh. I was supposed to have a set ready for my car by the beginning of summer, but my dad's been swamped with orders for Ridgeline doorsills. If you care to wait, I promise you won't be dissapointed.

Right now he's finishing my custom license plate. :) It's somewhat styled after the Corvette. He's taking it to have it black-chromed next weekend.

As for the doorsills, the first batch was machines billet aluminum with a powder coated finish. This final batch is machined billet aluminum with black wrinkle finish(looks ******* awesome), and a clear coat over the engraving. I'll take pics later this week.

does he do orders? how much would it run, or is he too busy. I don't really want to spend much, and I don't even care if they have Civic cut into them, I just want something to shield the sill...

Your best bet is to have your local decal place do it.

I'd appreciate it if you could check into it and provide a price estimate, maybe we can get a group buy going
