Thumbs up What would you want in an 8th Gen Si exhaust?

So, we are looking at doing private label CorSport exhaust systems, we are trying to gauge the interest (just post up that your interested if you are).

We want input on the design as well.

Sedan or Coupe? (we can only pick one for the first run early next year)
Loud and built for all out performance?
Quiet and built for sound?
"Can style" design or "muffler style" design?
60mm, 70mm, 3"?
Brushed steel, polished steel, burnt tip, non burnt tip, etc?

These will be top quality 16 gauge T304 Stainless Steel exhaust tubing with full tig welding at every seam regardless of design features.

Let me know what you guys want, I am serious about making these for the 8thCivic crowd... we will even be offering the first 10 at an incredibly low price for those willing to wait this process out and commit early (and of course, to help us insure the financial ability to produce these).

So, speak up ... let us know what you want.

Tai

Tai, after the fiasco with Turbo Mafia, I would be up for a system for an FA5 with 70mm pipe diameter, brushed pipe [doesn't need to be polished for me] and an oval muffler similar to the Si muffler or HFP. I would like a polished tip though.

I would like something that would give better performance while not being too loud save for VTEC. Running one or two resonators would be good too. I would be interested if you decide to come out with one.

Your timing is perfect as I just contacted my cc company about the Turbo Mafia scam and am in the market for an exhaust system. In fact, the reason I went on your thread is because I was looking for info on the Comptech setup for my FA5.

I would like a good system for a FG2, one that is good with performance, but still on the quieter side. I'd probably want a 3" if I get the SC.

Yeah Scott, if you get the Comptech S/C or the like, a 3" would be fabulous.

Something for PERFORMANCE.
Not loud please, if you want something loud, buy some loud speakers and record EXHAUST SOUNDS, and keep playing it all day.

oh please do this.
3" piping, sedan, jdm angles exit, polisted piping, burnt tip, max gains. (not quite sure what you mean by can or muffler)

lol maybe you can take the turbo mafia idea and make an option where we can pick the muffler we want. or just buy piping or something. lol probably not

but good idea here

I want an exhaust for the FA5.. not TOO loud, but definitely louder than stock.. deep as well. And a good looking exhaust tip is a must.. I don't want one that looks like a huge tip like the TI-C, Evo2, etc etc. Something similiar to stock.

If you can do this, PM me a price and we can talk from there. I'd be willing to put up pics/vids as well to gain interest for others.

Bro, don't delay in cancelling with TM. I did today. Webby sent an e-mail to all of us who had bought systems, warning us to cancel. If they can demonstrate that they are legit, you can always reorder.

The Corsport system sounds exactly what many of us were looking for in the Turbo Mafia system, but with the Corsport excellence in service and reliability.

Sedan, 70mm piping, oval muffler and 1 resonator for a nice smooth, deep, awesome sound.

Also, when you do make the system, please provide a dyno and sound clip if possible with a quality recording device. It will pay off in the amount of sales that will come from people not having to post fifteen thousand threads about "What exhaust sounds the best" "What exhaust gives the most gain?"

I also like the look of the stock oval tip, burnt would be cool too. Also a muffler style rather than can.
