in one of the long straight pieces make a 2 inch piece removable. im sure it would make things a lil more expensive but only by like 20 bucks.

i have lots of ideas.

I am not sure how much it would add to the cost, but having a chambered muffler like the LSD would be awesome also. But if it is a huge cost, don't worry about it. As long as it sounds good, i'll be in. I was going to get the LSD after new years, but it looks like i have to wait for Corsport!

A single Vband is more than $20 --- but yeah, idea noted.

set it up like TM where the mufflers can swap... that was the only reason why i wanted a TM exhaust wanted a WS for daily driving and HKS for the tracks and other times

ive heard it in person as well, and to me it is.. driving normaly not really but once in vtec is not as deep as I would like.. the perfect exhaust would be a 2.75 like the evott.. its deep and high quality, it drones a lot but im sure you can lower the drone.. I would buy that in 2 secs

Honestly Tai your best bet is probably a semi quiet 70mm exhaust. I am thinking 70mm Stainless, one resonator, and straight through muffler...something like the Comptech or Vibrant exhausts. I have a sedan but you should probably make it for the coupe and either create an adapter for the sedans or go the route that vibrant took. I had my Vibrant on with no modifications and never had an exhaust leak. However I did sell that only to get scammed by Turbo-Mafia so I am in the market for a new one and as you know I have no problem giving you guys my money.

Yeah, I am leaning back towards 70mm instead of actual 3" -- One resonator for sure, I dont want the weight of a second one just for a bit more sound loss. Tone will probably be very similar to vibrant as that is the style resonator and materials we will be using...

Im still sold on doing the Sedan one first because EVERYONE makes a coupe one already. Im going to do my best (cannot guarantee it though) to do Coupe and Sedan at the same time.

Anyway, thanks for the input everyone, keep it coming.

Tai

Hey man don't get me wrong I would love for you to make a sedan one. I would buy one in a heartbeat. I was just thinking that money wise it would save you the hassle of having to make two different mid pipes. However you did say you were thinking about doing a two pipe design so I guess only one of the pipes would have to change which would really be just as easy as an adapter or in short...

(PipeA)(PipeB)(AxelBack) for the Coupe
(PipeA)(PipeC)(AxelBack) for the Sedan

But just for me go ahead and start with the sedan. This method would save you money on shipping.

Yeah after this Turbo Mafia thing I have been looking for a new exhaust. As an FA5 guy we have one option (unless you want to go modify what should be a bolt-on), the LSD exhaust ...well I hate canister style mufflers. I think they look a little ricey. Also I am 24 years old and have a real job, so I like muffler style exhaust because it looks stockish and have a great rumble to them.

I second, or third, or whatever this motion... +1

...and the different midpipe design, so us coupe guys can reap the benefits of your hard work as well (leading to you reaping the benefits of more Benjamins in your bank acct. too ).

the LSD exhaust comes with a tip that you don't HAVE to install so make it look more stock.
