not necessarily ... BC is made in Japan and reputation for high quality. Vibrant will have to prove that they have better quality control compared to their exhaust.

i hope the vibtant Si rh is nothing like the rsx rh, because the guys on club rsx say that the vibrant rh doesnt fit well and doesnt net the gains like all the other rh's out there.

Time will tell but I believe that Vibrant took their time to get it right and I don't expect any less of a performance gain than similar 4-2-1 headers.
My guess would be around 15-16 HP gain at the wheels for the Raceheader and not much different for the one with High Flow Cat.
I will jump on this thing as soon as I get back from vacation and still have some money left

How'd I miss this?? A Header w/ HF Cat? I guess my plans of getting the dogbone mount are on hold to save up for this puppy. If anyone gets the cat/no cat version and installs, PLEASE review it. I'm saving clams for it starting now...

I thought that 4-2-1 gave you more midrange power, while the 4-1 gave top end power?

I guess i have it mixed up.

That no longer applies to a long tube hybrid header.

So does the race header come with a high flow cat attached to the header?

Yes and no. There's two options: (cut from first post)

Just ordered w/ high flow cat. I had my car dynoed (on a Mustang dyno) recently, so I'll try to get a reading after the install.

It's going to be a while, and I'm not sure if I can find a Mustang dyno in the area (I just moved to Charlottesville, VA), so don't expect anything from me too soon.

I'll probably put my car on a Dynojet if I can't find a Mustang, but I don't think the two readings will be comparable...
