AEM Cold Air Intake

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knows the exact horsepower an AEM CAI would add to the car as I'm looking to get one when my car comes in.

Worth it

Do you think then that the cold air is worth purchasing considering it only adds 7 horsepower roughly? I have a hard time shelling out that kind of money for 7 horses. Anyone started making turbos or superchargers for the 06 yet?

Hey, its all psyhcological -- if it is in the car, maybe you will think your car is going faster.

I will wait for AEM to design a bypass valve for the Civic CAI. After the bypass is available, I will then put one in my car and not before.

spoke to them about a bypass valve...there's won't be one. period. they told be that it simply cannot be used at all and also they won't be a V2 application of any sought.

what makes the 06 Si so different that a bypass valve and a V2 application cannot be designed. It is and will probably be a very hot model.

if you look at how the cai is positioned in the car it cant be done, as for the v2 its because the new si has a sensor in the intake and i think you cant use that sensor with the v2
