Finally got Fujita CAI installed!

i was supposed to get it done last week, but it has been raining and cold. yesterday was cloudy but it wasnt too bad outside so me and my brother decided to put it on. all i can say is, if you dont know what you are doing, get professional help! the install took us 4 hours.. lol.. we spent an hour and a half figuring out how to get the bumber to come off, when all he had to do was yank it real hard. other than that it was pretty easy. i don't know why it took so long. but you need to buy new bumper clips before installing this kit because they break really easy.if anyone knows where i can host a video i have a clip of it downloaded to my computer from my cell phone... i was driving from a light and you can hear it but it sounds so much better in person. to me it sounds like my friends wrx. but i have an auto . as far as performance, it helps it a little. but the car is still going to be slow unless you go the forced induction route. :)

Why did you have to take the bumper off to install a CAI or is it a short ram?

Then you haven't heard the Si. It sounds orgasmic.

I put an Intake on my Legend. Actually, I used a conical open-end filter. It sounds like a V8. At wide-open throttle, you'd have to hear it. I can't quite explain it. It's not as orgasmic as the Si's stock, but it's close.

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/7...B7ACEDE59B.htm

that is the link to a video i took after installing it. i didnt take any install pics cuz there are pictures in the installation instructions. yes you have to take the bumper off because thats the only way to unscrew the resonator box. i cant imagine trying to do it with the bumper still on. the cone goes directly to where the bumper it. but yeah i feel it pull a little harder than usual. i'm sure the effect would be more dramatic on a manual transmission....

Video is corrupted! Oh no. Dude, get a video camera from someone. Makes it easier than using your phone.

I removed my stock airbox and resonator assembly without removing the bumper.
And I didnt break any clips. U just need a small flat screwdriver to remove them all.

can you take some pics of the cai installed and a video with a digital camera not a cell phone

if you want to convert the 3gp video use download.com to search for a converter also in the nokia site there is an aplication that works from avi to 3gp i dont know if works the other way
