What is it made out of? From what I can see, can't it still transfer heat?

It's also not a very noticable difference on your pocket book...

This is a brand new part from p2r we have no direct experience with it so far -- if someone wants to do a before and after dyno, we could provide one for cost -- let us know.

We are also waiting on a reply from P2R about gains, etc.

Hey everyone.
Here is a little background on the development of the part. From what we have seen so far, we have seen about 4-5 hp gains. A 2.0 liter motor like the SI will not see as much as 10 hp like you seen on the Jeep, but it surly makes a few hp, by adding a lil more volume in the plenum.

Some of you might say that 4-5 hp is not much of a gain, but there is not many things you can do to a car to add 5 hp for under $100. And since all of your cars are still under warrenty, most of you will not open your motor and change internals, so your stuck with only being able to get bolt on HP anyways.

Also one of you above said something about heat transfer. THis product does not contribute to stopping heat transfer in any way. Our thermal throttle body gasket that we sell is used for that.

Here is a picture of the spacer on a 06 Si.

The spacer used in this picture was black.

Also, I will upload a dyno graph early next week, with b4 & after results, also we will do it with and without our throttle body gasket.

So can his be used in conjunction with the thermal throttle body gasket?? Or are the TB bolts too short?

The bolts are the good length, to where it can be used with factory throttle body gasket, or can be used with our thermal throttle body gasket.

Also for the guy who asked about price. Its listed on corsport site

Still don't see how that part would make an additonal 4-5hp out of that small of an increase of space/length in that area (actually asking, not being a skeptical smart-ass).....but if it does, I will buy one.

And thanks for the info Power Rev Racing. Waiting for dyno....
