i read on a k20 forum, while looking for the TB spacer, that the bolts that got shipped to him were too short to work with the gaskets. I assume they come with the right length bolts now??

Thats the only question i have, then i will order mine

Any answer to this? it's one of my concerns.

I have the AEM CAI and it's up to the Rad hose already. if it gets pushed up any further against it, wouldn't it cave in and ruin the air flow... then the TB spacer would just offset that loss?

You would have to either:

1. Trim the AEM CAI's elbow coupler where it meets the throttle body.
2. Do something like this: http://www.k-series.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14314

I'd probably recommend number 2. I'd get rid of that hose once and for good. Having something that is supposed to draw cold air in pressed to a tube that is bloody hot ... is probably not a good idea.

I personally think it'll make quite a big difference, especially if you were to have the IMG and TB gasket as well. Have you ever felt your intake manifold or throttle body after driving? It's pretty freaking hot!

yeah i got 2 gaskets with it.

When i say noticable, i mean in power. I would hope it keeps the intake manifold cooler, seeing as how thats half the reason for buying one

I installed mine this weekend. You should do the throttle body coolant by-pass for full cooling potential.

Your intake manifold gets really hot regardless of having or not having the IMG installed. If you start your car and let it idle for 15 minutes, the intake manifold will still get really hot from the heat. The TB gasket on the otherhand helps to keep the TB cool at idle or when driving.

Umm...It helps to keep the throttle body cooler, not the intake manifold.

it actually helps the manifold stay cooler since there's no heat transfer from the TB... trust me this is the only thing i have on my car and it made a noticeable difference on temps/power.... i don't even have the IMG...

and your correct about the idle thing even if u have all the gaskets in the world ur gonna get those pieces hot if ur just sitting....
