Exhaust Tip Finisher

I have the 06 2dr lx and want to install an exhaust tip to the muffler, do the EXs have a chrome tip?: http://www.hondapartsdeals.com/produ...xterior-access

or just a regular tip #12: https://www.hondapartsdeals.com/hond...omponent=B++02

$18.45 is a much cheaper solution than $89.25, thanks.

I have EX and paid extra for the chrome exhaust tip. However, much more than $18. Jump on that and take it anywhere to get it installed. PepBoys, etc.

i'm trying to remember if the Ex's have a chrome tip or a polished one. The chrome tip seems to be a $80 accessory. The $18 tip i am guessing is the standard polished tip for the EX.

EX Coupe maybe, I haven't seen one on any sedans. I am interested in what the difference (besides cosmetic) is between the Honda exhaust tip and a universal one from the auto parts store? I can find one that fits and looks nice as well for $20-$40 and be ok with the savings.

I just got my order in from hondapartsdeals for the exhaust tip finisher. It's the exact same as the ex tips, polished and for $18, a great deal. Well worth it for those that have a coupe lx/dx or any sedan that doesn't have a tip. Only thing is that you'll need a screw to lock it into place, didn't come with it. You can find any screw anywhere that has the right thread, the screw itself shouldn't be that long, around 1 inch.

I have a cheap looking one on my EX sedan. It looks more like a extension then a tip, it's poorly polished.

Then I got ripped. My purchase was from mid-November, is it possible to go back and get the tip and check if anything else is missing?

I just picked up my new Civic 4dr EX with Navi this past Friday. I noticed it did not have the chrome exhast tip on it. The salesman said that the EX coupe did, but not the 4dr. I checked the Honda website and it does show one for the coupe, but not the 4dr.

I went on line and ordered one. http://www.hondacuraworld.com/

I am enjoying my Civic, it's a fun car to drive and it gets better gas mileage than my SUV I traded in.

Hmm. I have one and wasn't charged extra for it. I had ordered atomic blue, but when I saw the silver I had to have it. I guess the silver one already had it on there and they didn't charge me extra since I had already signed the agreement on the price.
