Exhaust Wrap & Accessories

The first step in controlling under hood temperatures is to use DEI's exhaust wrap. This product is designed to keep heat in the exhaust and evacuate it out of the engine compartment. Wrapping your headers will reduce under hood temperatures by up to 50% while providing additional horsepower, engine protection and passenger comfort. All exhaust and header wraps are not alike! We start with a hi-temp fiberglass composite material then add a proprietary coating to enhance heat retention and expand durability. We are also the only manufacturer to add 1/4" guidelines to the exhaust wrap to ensure proper installation without the guess work.

* Reduce under hood temperatures a realistic 50%
* Improves horsepower
* Only exhaust wrap with installation guide lines
* Added durability and heat retention

Shipping is always included in the price you see inside the 48 lower United States.

when i read the directions it talked about smoke coming from the wrap. with the first start up i don't see a problem with that. but it says it may smoke for a few days of driving.? im guessing this is a very light smoke if it even smokes that long.?

It can take a few days depending on the amount you drive.

Dude for real. I just bought a 1" x 50' roll at Advanced Auto Parts in FL and it cost $31.99. Needless to say I will be purchasing from CorSport and returning this Advanced crap. CorSport has the titanium roll, same size, for $18.

edit: AND that $31.99 was for the plain-jane tan wrap!

edit: I can't do math. CorSport's site says it's '+ $18' for the 1" x 50' roll of titanium wrap, making it $39 total, which is STILL cheaper than the tan wrap for $32 at Advanced.

Since your supposed to get this wet during the install I would recommend wearing some gloves.

Did you use the spray silicone or just leave the wrap as it is?

I bought some for my dcrh, BUT I think i'll just make some ram air something and wrap all my engine components...

You do not need the spray for the titanium wrap. (if that helps anyone)
