06+ Civic Si Jackson Racing Supercharger W/O Fuel System

With the introduction of the K20Z3 engine in the 2006 Civic Si, Honda again set the bar for normally aspirated four cylinder performance. The 2.0 liter K Motor pumps out an impressive 193.2hp and 141.4 ft. lbs. of torque (as measured on the Dynapack dyno).

Now, Moss Motors have raised the bar yet again. 10psi of boost from the JR Gen IV supercharger and a custom tune up have created a tire smoking beast. Torque is increased by 27% and horsepower by 40%. While impressive, this doesn’t give the complete picture. Take a look at the dyno chart. Right around 2800rpm, torque (blue line) on the stock Civic Si is falling over and drops all the way to 6000rpm. Now look at the Supercharged Civic (red line). At 2800rpm, torque starts to rocket upward and climbs all the way to 6000rpm. What does this mean? There is a profound difference in throttle response and acceleration. Power and torque are now available all the time, in every gear. First and Second gear shift comes fast and take your full attention to keep from banging against the rev limiter. Simply put, the Supercharged Civic Si transforms into a completely different car. Supercharged, the Civic Si becomes a tire smoking, tire shredding beast.

While horsepower and torque are important, drive-ability is key. Drive-ability refers to all the little things that are easily forgotten. Does it idle properly? Is acceleration smooth without hiccups? Can the engine be lugged at low rpm around town? Is it still capable of getting stock gas mileage? The answers to all of these questions are Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes. The annoying throttle hang (between shifts) from early Civic Si’s is gone. Simply put, drive-ability is perfect.

The JR Gen IV Supercharger is our proprietary external housing utilizing Eaton’s Gen IV rotating group. Integrated into the supercharger is a vacuum bypass system that allows the supercharger to free-wheel under light throttle conditions. This saves fuel and reduces parasitic loss on the engine. Under heavy throttle, the bypass valve closes and instant boost is achieved giving seamless acceleration and throttle response.

damn...this is about the same price as a decent set of cams, retainers/springs and installation (cause god knows I don't want to mess with a cam installation). Well... dunno if I am doing cams anymore hah.

So what fuel components do you need to complete the kit?

yes, what exactly is missing in the fuel system that we need? and can they be added at an additional cost?

As it looks like on the Corsport website, there's a drop down option for either the AP or FlashPro for $695, but is that it? If that's the case maybe the title should be "06+ Civic Si Jackson Racing Supercharger W/O Fuel Management"...

to have proper clearance for the actual blower to fit, you need to grind a very small amount off the block, but it is not much at all...it's all in the installation instructions

This is exacly what Moss told me. It does not have injectors, plugs or tuning.

Exactly what I was looking for. This gives you the opportunity to go ahead and buy flashpro or cobb now and not have to worry about wasting money if you decide to go the sc way since until now all came with a reflash and you would have had to of spent additional money. Love it.

Mike
an email I received from them a bit ago when I asked:

Yes - within the next couple weeks there will be a SC kit part number
available for the supercharger only - no ECU flash or injectors.
Suggestion is watch the High Performance Parts and Accessories at JacksonRacing.com site under 'NEW PRODUCTS'
for the release of that very SC kit. Thanks for your interest.

Since the introduction of Flashpro and COBB Tuning, will there be an a
la carte supercharger package that will allow customers to buy the
manifold and blower themselves? I am very interested in getting your
supercharger for my application however I also plan on additional mods
in the future that would require tuning. Thank you in advance!

Maybe it will come with plugs after rereading what they wrote? But definitely no injectors or tuning.

from moss's website:

"989-327 $2,495.95
06-09 Civic Si Supercharger System - NO FUEL MANAGEMENT
Note: This system was put together for customers that already have a Hondata ECU or want to supply their own fuel management."
