i was wondering will comptech make a 4-1 header with cat that is carb legal?

someone posted pictures of a comptec race header prototype some time ago but i doubt it will ever come out

Comptech cannot change out the stock cat without serious hurdles with CARB, so it's highly unlikely.

i think the prototype was made to work with the stock cat. who knows because it never was released.

I was hoping with the budget crisis that they'd just disband CARB and fire all of its employees. Think of the billions we could save... =P

we can't even touch the cat on our cars. its illegal for me to weld on a magnaflow cat on a vibrant rh that would perform almost as well as the stock one. like wtf? i understand maybe a random tech cat or the cat on the vibrant header w/ hfc cuz they're so small
