I assume this means muffler only -- but I haven't seen one yet in person.

Here's my dilemma with this exhaust. I heard my friend's WS2 the other day, he took off at full throttle while I was outside, and I could barely hear him. He has a Strup header, Injen cold air, and the WS2 with the N1 midpipe (He also has the N1 axleback, he swaps them out for daily driving and meets). Is the N1 midpipe the same as the WS2 midpipe? If so, I'm definitely going to hop on the Apexi Noir and be the test subject in the South Florida crew with this exhaust.

^diameter is the same -- id assume they are identical -- if not, very similar -- either way, the N1 is the louder one, the ws2/Noir's are really quiet.

Yeah, I've heard both the N1 and the WS2 with the Strup header, and the N1 is nearly deafening. I was just concerned that because my friend was using the N1 midpipe and the WS2 axle back that it would sound different with the full WS2 catback, I liked the way the mix sounded. I'm not too keen on how exhaust notes come to be, whether the midpipe makes the most difference or if the axleback/resonator does. That probably didn't make much sense, but what can I do, lol. Once I have some extra money (possibly tax return) I'll be getting this exhaust. After owning the LSD Power-4, I want to keep my cabin quiet and still sound great from now on. Thanks a lot

I'll def be switching from my 70mm Skunk to the NOIR. Too loud with the Vibrant header w/ HFC. Like the black stock look. Done with cops always muggin.

hey Corsport -- any chance these are in stock and ready to ship? i noticed the original post said they'd take 1-2 weeks, but this was a few months ago. i'd like to order tonight, and hopefully have it by next week (spring break! plenty of time to install.) thank you!

edit- i'm impatient and just went ahead and ordered it last night... here's to hoping! LOL

IMO 70mm is too big for N/A. Not enough low end torque. Can't wait to order the Noir. Had to switch from Skunk2 70mm back to stock.

Your probably right about that. I'm just talking from personal experience. I personally didn't like the Skunk.

The NOIR (nwär) muffler was developed specifically with the diehard street car enthusiast in mind. Over the years it has became increasingly difficult to street drive a modified “sport compact” in some parts of the country. Staying low profile is an important issue to many street tuners who don’t want to deal with the negative stigma sometimes associated with modified imports. The NOIR Muffler is designed to be quieter than a typical racing exhaust while its stealthy black coating minimizes your chances of generating attention from unwanted sources. The WS style canister and 100mm tip finish off the system with a classic sporty look without being over the top.

CONCEPT:
The WS NOIR Muffler is based on the "Original" World Sport Muffler Canister and Tip. It is finished with an all matte-black powder-coat from piping to tip. The package includes muffler, cat-back piping and all necessary hardware.

CHARACTERISTICS:
- Straight-Through Muffler Design on TURBO Applications.
- Chambered Muffler Design on NA (Non-Turbo) Applications.

- "APEXi" Logo Stamped on the side of the Muffler Tip

Product Points:
- Muffler is based on the "Original" WS (World Sport) Muffler Canister and Tip.
- Finished with an ALL Matte-Black Color Powdercoat from Piping - to - Tip.
- Includes: NOIR Muffler, Piping, and all necessary hardware.

Product Features:
- Straight-Through Muffler Design on TURBO Applications.
- Chambered Muffler Design on NA (Non-Turbo) Applications.
- "APEXi" Logo Stamped on the side of the Muffler Tip.

Thanks again,
CorSport
^ Does that mean you have to specify if you have a turbo or NA? Do you have to specify for the WS2?

I ask cuz i plan to supercharge and i want a really quiet exhaust.

ps, sorry for the big ass letters, didnt know how to fix that

^ sorry, let me reword my question.... i know it comes only in 60 mm but do i have a choice of straight through muffler design since i plan to go S/C? or does it automatically come w. the chambered muffler design which i would figure would be more restrictive?
