following up on our conversation regarding the SS brake lines and installation issues on an 07 Si Sedan, please let me know what you discover after you eyeball the car for yourself , and also let me know what the brake line manufacturer recommends regarding installation and the factory mounting points.

Robert,

They will need to be cut and a mount made to be installed. As mentioned on the phone.

Here is the problem: Honda decides to cut corners and during 07 model year sedan only decides to weld the tab on the car, people start complaining and they HAVE already started releasing 07 sedans that DO NOT have the welded tabs. Its hondas fault, you stuck with that car, or you mod it to fix it.

As for returning them, I already told you to send them in for $50 credit -- if you really want them on the car, have your mechanic cut off the old ones, mount a tab, drill a hole in the tab and mount the new ones.

So Honda is already producing cars without welded tabs? That's quick reaction time for a company of their size.

I plan on keeping the lines and having them installed. Maybe not immediately,
but not far down the road.

Yup, so I have been told, according to techna-fit (the manufacturer) this has happened on some camrys before as well ...

I have recieved parts on time. And customer service was great. Follow up emails and updates whenever new progress on parts has changed. Looking forward to do business once new parts arrive and become available. Kudos...I am very pleased and impressed.

Progress bar came across the border with no hassles at all. I was updated when the bar came back into stock and that it was being shipped from Corsport instead of progress directly as it was an international order. Excellent customer service and I look forward to purcashing more parts!
