So I installed the corsport ss and the cable bushings about two weeks ago. Well, a few days ago I went to put my car in reverse, wouldn't go
. So I pushed the car back and started driving. Go to shift to 2nd, not happening, same with 4th and 6th. So I went back home opened the hood and seen this:![]() ![]() WHAT DO I DO!!!

Yup, you cannot man-handle the cables during install -- and the clips in the pictures are the first thing you remove to do the install so you dont kink/bend the cables while removing the bushings, etc... You will have to replace the cables.

You have to replace them. I payed 130 at the dealer and it took me 4 hours with no clue what to do and lots of breaks. If you don't replace them the cable will eventually snap and you will no longer be able to drive it at all. There should be a warning that tells customers this could happen.

I bought them from the local dealership... but collegehillshonda.com sells them much cheaper. I just didnt know about it at that time. Its not too hard to replace them but takes some time and patience. I dont think there is a DIY. If you are somewhat mechanically skilled, you can do it. But be careful not to breake it again.
