I have a 2007 si, has a excedy stage 1 clutch installed 10,xxx miles ago.

When i push the clutch pedal in it feels sticky, there is like a 1 sec delay before it pops back out, the car drives perfectly fine, goes into gear just fine, no grinds pop outs and i can always slam it into gear when i get on it. only problem is this delay of its soft spot for a split second.

The car seems to be on/off with this problem. seems to be more normal when it is cold, And acts up when warm.

I bought a new updated cmc. and had my favorite local shop install it, no luck, still acts the same way. Im puzzled on what is going on. The mechanic i took it too spent hours on different ways bleeding it. Tried different cmc adjustments, trying E mans way first.

The slave cylinder was also pulled out and inspected. Looks to check out okay.

I don't know what to do next, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
What do I do? just start throwing money at it and replace every possible part causing my issue? I'm lost.

Ive done some research on this forum and like always seeing mixed results.

Things I've read other do to cure this

-throw out bearing getting stuck and not wanting to return to its resting place on input shaft

- replaced clutch lines

-grease master cylinder rod

Cmc line collapsed

Bad pressure plate

Bent shift fork

Slave cylinder rubber boot

Cmc( which i already tried)

slave cyclinder
