Shift Into Neutral Or Rev With Clutch In When Rev Matching

Do you guys put it into neutral and let out on the clutch then put the clutch in again and downshift or do you just put the clutch in rev then move into a lower gear then let it out?

I heard the former was bad on your throw out bearing

longer you depress the clutch more wear and tear on the clutch, whatever gets your foot out of the clutch pedal sooner is best

that's double clutching. you can rev match while pressing the clutch pedal as well.
