vtec in 6th?

just curious in who's hit vtec in 6th, and how was it? heh

i was rippin with it in 5th tonight, thought about pushing it thru 6th, but wussd out.

ps..bought my 08' glxy sedan on the 1st with 10 miles on it....i have JUST under 2k on the odo already and loving every mile of it...ranged anywhere from 28 - 34.5 mpg.

Si is governed and won't vtec in 6th, multiple videos online.

07's with without reflash wont go that fast, so I dont know.

06s dont have the gov. on them, so if it has the power to get fast enough you could.

is it really?? if so, thats pretty lame. granted i'm not trying to kill it within the first two weeks of ownership either, but still should work like vtec in any other gear imho...

once you get to 134 mph the car wont go any faster... its limited by the ecu

that would be nice, but bouncing off the limiter in v-tec wouldnt be cool

i know you guys are gunna think im lien cuz i already posted this in another thread like this but me and my buddie were driving and he had h22 prelude me in fg2 we were at 144 and stoped. buy the way i have a earlie model 07. every body doubts me but i wish i had video or some thing the only people who really know are me and my buddie. sucks but w.e

Im sure physically, the cars can go above 144, however THE ECU IS GOVERNED AT 134.

The type r tops out at 160

well ya know what i know a kid who didnt modify his si at all bone stock 06 si and it does like you said shut off at 134 but i sware lol myn went 144 took for ever but did it.
ive heard the earlie model 07 si's like when they first came out still wernt governed.

right i mean how many people actually tryed it, has any body actualy asked honda them selfs when they put that on the ecu. nobody actualy knows for a fact

well it works in 6th. I've done it, in a closed, private parking lot. On ice (my wheels were spinning, not moving even 10mph). Please don't try it on a public road.
