Also, people generally don't make threads that go "HEY GUYS, just wanted to let everyone know that my car is friggin awesome. Kk, that's it, ciao!"

Tranny issues have been addressed, paint has always blown ass from what I can tell, interior...well, it's not a lexus, it's a 20k civic with an engine that's totally unmatched in it's class, the scales had to balance out somewhere didn't they?
haha well put my friend. But honestly i think 3rd gear is a big enough issue for most of us, that we lose faith. Even worse that Honda dealers dont want to fix it or even acknowledge it you know. But nothing beats the looks of civic i'll tell you that much.

Oh by the way, i really didnt buy the civic for the price. I would of paid 30k if thats what it was going for, i bought it mainly for the look. I love it.I guess i wouldnt mind paying an extra few thousand for better paint interior and transmission.

Yeah, they some hoes. I guess when you go in you need to be prepared with TSB IN HAND! lol. When dealers do warranty work don't they get reimbursed by Honda? I don't understand why they'd be dodging people if they 1) know there's warranty work to be done and 2) get paid for that work by the H...

It's crazy! Also, in regards to your comment about paying more for better interior/paint, have you looked at a TSX recently? Great cars, great interior, K24 under the hood

Too late now lol, well the TSX for lacks that more sporty look you know. I love the Civics and especially the SI. Trust me, if it didnt have the problems it does, i would be the happiest guy alive.

I went from a 2008 Honda Civic EX to a 2008 SI and never looked back. I have not regretted once. The SI is so much better of a car. When I look back I don't know what I was thinking when I bought the EX.

finally 1st post!

I also understand that Honda isn't above everything out there, I've never been like that.

You look at comparisons between the Cobalt SS and the Si and the Si wins. I haven't heard one good thing about the SS. My friend has one and 2 months in the engine is rattling horribly.

American cars FTL.
Funny, my engine has been making a metallic rattling sound as well...
