When To Change the Oil?

My oil life indicator is at 50% now and the car has 3500 miles on it. When would you change the oil?

I changed mine at 20% which was around 5500 miles. but it depends on how you drive the car, how many miles before you oil life runs out

I changed my oil at 3500 miles.

I changed mine a few miles before 5000. I think my indicator was somewhere around 30%.

Hello all, I've been lurking here for a while, but decided to jump in on this thread. For anyone really interested in this subject, visit bobistheoilguy. I stumbled across the site a few weeks ago and it is a wealth of information. Like any public forum, however, be sure to read everything you can and then apply it to your own situation. Oil change intervals can vary widely (some people routinely go 10,000 to 15,000 miles or more!) depending on the car, oil and driving conditions.
