Need Help With SI Seats!!

Ok guys.. Here is my problem. My 2 front seats were stolen over a month ago and the body shop still hasnt finished my car. They are all done with everything except putting the seats together. I went there yesterday to see whats the hold up and they have started to put them together. They told me all Honda sent them was a parts diagram and they had to figure it out themselves... FIGURE IT OUT!!! I dont want someone to just try and figure it out. I want my seats back like they were before. Does anyone have any directions I could give them so they dont destroy these new seats? ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks

I would feel more comfortable with Honda doing it but my insurance co already paid the body shop and there not gunna bring it to Honda. Im sure it would be expensive at Hondas labor rate anyway.

You insurance company should pay for Honda tech to do this. Its their responsibility to have your car fixed properly.

I would mention it to them that you would feel more safe if someone who knew what they were doing put them together as this could cause more damage if they are not.

If the body shop doesnt do a good job, would it be to late to bring it to Honda and still have my insurance pay for it?

You could always go to the Honda dealership and see if they can find some instructions on it. Just explain the situation

its out of your insurance companies hands at that point. it would be up to the body shops insurance company to offer to pay for their faulty fix to be corrected.

Yeah once insurance pays for a quote then that's it. If insurance was going to pay for it why didn't you take it to a Honda body shop?

I heard to many horror stories about Honda body shops. I know these guys.. there around the corner to my office. If I could give them some sort of instructions or where to begin I would feel more comfortable.

That body shop sucks if they can't follow directions and put a seat or two together, how hard could it really be.

Take it to Honda. The seats have airbags in them. God forbid they would forget to plug them back in.

Have you ever tried putting them together???

They come in 30 seperate boxes and every piece is wraped in its own plastic bag with no directions. Thats why people steal them cause its not like you can just buy it and put it in your car.

Im good at putting things together but that would be a cluster f**k
