Civic SI Brakes anyone have them replaced yet?

How many miles did anyone put on thier Si before it needed brakes?

I have a 2006 civic Si My front brakes are almost toast...
Almost 30k on car and time for upgrade...
Anyone using HFP brakes/rotors?

Any other suggestion's on after market rotors and pads?

30 k huh, ive toasted rotors and pads on my other cars in 5-10k miles...LOL.....not anymore that was when I was younger, I saw the HFP brake it on one Civic at the dealer, it looked slick but IMO just get some nice Brembo blanks and pads. On my last Civic i ran Spoon calipers, ATE fluid, Brembo blanks with hawk pads and it stopped on a dime!

Yah, there just direct replacement rotors, I honestly just used to buy new ones cause they were so cheap from sponsors on Honda-tech always. There just plain OEM looking rotors! Honestly you can also just use Autozone blanks also, nothing wrong with that either!!

about 75k replaced front and rear pads. Only had the front rotors resurfaced. The rears were left untouched.

Yup 19K here and Im all good. When I have to replace them I think I will just pick up some HFP pads if the price is right.
