a copy of the ad your running might help? maybe you need to reword it, or lower your price.

Well for starters its not fully loaded. You dont have the navigation, the hfp kit etc. Maybe its the area? Maybe its the color. As popular as FBP is, some people prefer a more subtle color.

Possible that the starting price is simply not attracting attention... considering that someone that puts some effort into it can buy a new 2008 for $20K or so.

The challenge I think is that you're talking about getting someone's attention, and you're talking about a fairly new car. The gap between yours with 14K miles and a new one with 0 miles is pretty small. At that point, most people can justify the additional expense for a brand new car. People like to be the first owner.

I think you might get more inquiries if the ad was in the $17K range OBO. I think that your starting price is what's scaring people off, not the color.

Try starting the listing at $17,999 or $17,900. You may get more looks.

Take some better pictures when the sun is high in the sky. I do not think the pictures you have are all that great. Re-word the ad so it says, "great fuel economy. Car has been babied". Write it with some enthusiasm. Make it sound like you hate to sell it bro!

Why are you selling it? I own a 07 NHBP Si coupe and regret the purchase now that I've been jobless since last Oct.

Selling a newer car privately isn't the easiest thing also. Most people would rather visit a dealer and get the car and loan done in a few hours. Most people looking at your car don't have 18k in their bank acct to give you and don't want to go through with the hassle of waiting for you to get the title so it can be passed on to them.

Wish I had some tips but that's what ran through my head as I debated selling my 07 FG2 with 15k or trading it in.

"200hp. Well maintained, very clean,Never abused only 14,500 miles. Fully loaded"

You sound like a car dealership that doesn't even know the proper hp rating. Plus every lying car salesman would say "never abused". It's meaningless lingo. Plus its photographed in a building lot so it looks like a dealer. Photograph it at your house or somebody's house in bright sun with a decent camera. Take closer shots that fill the frame. You don't need more than 1 or 3 photos. If somebody is interested you can email them more or they will come to look at it.

Once you've made changes to the ad wait a week, if no calls then lower it $1000. Wait again, if no calls then lower it again. wait and repeat until it sells. There is a market price for everything and once you hit it you will start getting people coming to look at it. You'll get about 2 to 10 emails a day and maybe 1 person every day who comes in person. If nobody is even coming to look then it's priced too high.

I've sold 4 cars in the last 6 months and it's always the same game.
