Is it really worth it....

I am in the market for mats for my SI and I saw the Honda All season rubber mats for sale at College Hills Honda for about $88. Is it really worth that much and are they good?

Does anyone know any place cheaper.

I will tell you... I regret not getting the All seasons either from the factory...or some cheap wal mart brand ones. My Si mats look so bad that i am going to eventually buy another set brand new and then put all seasons over them. They wear horrible under the mat itself. I would def recomend them. Some people even get weathertechs

WeatherTech Automotive Accessories - Car Mats, Floor Mats, Cargo Liners, Side Window Deflectors and More

They are pricier, but really nice.

The all seasons are great.

I had the factory carpet mats in at first and the usual wear started to set in. I didn't think much about it, and just got the all season mats for winter use. When the weather warmed up again, I decided to just leave the all seasons in the car...they look good, are easy to clean, and hold up much better than the carpet mats. Well worth the money.

I got the OWM all seasons. They protect your carpet so nicely. I keep them in all year and they are very easy to clean. IMO they look best because they fit the floor area perfectly.

I have OEM Acura all season mats similar to the college hills honda mats. I must say that I love having them, and the trunk liner is nice too.

These mats are very easy to clean and keep your regular mats looking great. I would buy them without question.

3 sets of mats from a department/car store = one set from super expensive dealer..

if your lazy and have money to burn, then yes, go ahead and get the $88 mats

All season mats are the only way to go, I dunno why people bother using the carpet ones. Hard to clean and look horrible after a short period of time. Had mine installed before I even picked the car up. Keeps the cars carpet much cleaner as well as traps dirt and crap better. My carpet ones are now just sitting in the closet. Have a trunk liner too, well worth the money.

this has nothing to do with what types of mats to get, it has to do with should i spend a ridiculous amount of money on mats from the dealer.. i have clear all weather mats and they were like $25 for the pair.. its real simple, are the all weather mats from the dealer LITERALLY 3x better than other mats? no

I love my Civic all season mats. I can tell that a NE winter would destroy the cloth ones. I wish they made mats that said SI on them like the cloth ones

hey whats up, i got the weather tech floorliners for christmas and love them. I just cleaned my car out for the first time since i put them in and everything is still nice and clean, not to mention all i had to do was pull them out wash them, dry them and throw them back in and i was done. I recommend those.

It depends. For general protection and convenience, they are worth it. They hold dirt in decently well.

However, if you get lots of rain or snow, they suck. The lips are shallow and it doesn't take hardly anything to have stuff spill over.

Weather Tech Mats > OEM all-Seasons.

Still All-Seasons > None.
