208 civic si steering wheel audio controls..

Hey, just wondering if there is anyway to install and new head unit..or like a in dash touch screen and still have the honda audio controls sync with it ? and be able to work?

Yes, it will work, but you'll need a special unit to connect the two. I think they are usually about $100-150.

There are many others on here who can give you a better or more complete answer than I can...or do a search in the Electrical/ICE sub-forum.

$100? A bit too much. Theres something on cluthfield but I think it cost about $50-75 i think.

Although it won't be perfect. I hear you have to hold down the button a second longer for it to register.

Conversely, I also heard there's a slight delay in pressing the button and it being "actuated". You don't have to hold it for longer, just that it's like DBW for your audio controls.
