Well, anything with a K20 in it is fun, right? And when we heard about the Mugen Si, I thought it was only natural it would follow in its footsteps. However, at 8k more than its younger brother, the Mugen only leaves us scratching our heads.

Many thought that a bigger 4 pots in front, a upgrade in power, etc., was in store, but all we got was a cosmetic package with a slightly upgraded suspension. (Devoid of coilovers, because Mugen doesn't make any.) Not to mention a car that thieves will do anything to steal!

Will this car keep its value like the Integra Type R, or be quickly forgotten like the EP3? What do you guys think?

Its essentially true, this is the 5th+ thread started about the same issue but that set aside, I believe the vehicle is overpriced. While it is true you would pay a lot to replicate what is on it, I would rather put 8K into performance rather than looks.

I agree the Mugen Si is overpriced. I think more people would have been happier paying 30k for a Type R version with engine mods IMO. Some find what the Mugen Si offers is worth it which is cool. I like the Mugen Si for its rarity.

I'm well aware of threads discussing the cost versus value of the Mugen. The reason I posted this was to make aware that it's not just other Civic owners criticizing Hondas decision to make the Mugen Edition almost purely asthetics, but major publishing companies as well.
