mugen si price lowered!!!

went to the dealer today to get maintanance and oil change and to tell them me 3rd gear issue... after talking to the person, i went to their showroom and seen the mugen si... it is not sold yet... and to top that, they lower the price to 28,852... which i was tempted and thinking about trading my si for it... if i can get it 30,000 otd... then i might consider it... for now... i dont want to think about it...

yea they lowered it since noone is buying them. If anyone wants one let me know I can fix you up with a hell of a deal on a new one.

I wouldn't buy it either...still way to expensive for just a logo and some minor aesthetic upgrades...at least they are getting a hint..

yea, they lowered it because honda had a promising msrp saying that they will sell it for 29k-30k. but since they were selling them for 35k-40k, people barely bought them. im guessing this is why honda lowered the price.

They probably lowered it cause in about 3-6 months, all the Mugen Si owners are going to beat the beeswax out of Honda for selling them a $30,000 with a transmission my grandmother would break on the way to the grocery store.

And the dealer cries, "Abuse! Abuse!"

Honda would make more money by parting out all the mugen parts and selling them to fanboys. Then selling the car as a regular FA5.... Honda cut your losses!

My local dealer has a cool $7k mark-up, for $37k, haha. Here I was complaining about the 1-series being overpriced...

When I went in for the mtf switch I seen one in person for first time. I told the service people its nice looking but I wouldnt pay that much. They were selling it for like 28-29? The service guy said noone seems to want to pay that much because its been sitting there for months! lol
