Where are you now? If you have time, take I-75 up to the Smoky mountains and rock the Tail of the Dragon. I went out of my way on my one long road trip with my FA5 to drive it. worth it. GL buddy +rep.

I am making the trip by myself with a lot of stops to see people that I know along the way. Right now I am in Houston, TX and will be going due west after I leave here, eventually ending up in Las Vegas in a couple of weeks. My trunk is packed completely full, and the back seat just has a handful of things that I use regularly. I am not moving any furniture or anything big until I figure out how permanent this whole trip/moving thing is going to be.

That's cool. I'd love to take a cross cuntry road trip. But people in some states look at me as if they never seen an Asian man before.

Actually, back in 1987, New Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana. But I hear there is a larger population of Asians now.

To the guy in SoCal - thanks for the offer and I'll let you know if I need a place to crash. I really have found friends before in my fellow Si owners and I really like that. The move to Vegas is really just for a change of life I guess, I just felt really stuck. I'm 27, just got out of a 3 year relationship, feeling like the life and job were not going anywhere, so why not a major change? I have been to Vegas a few times and I love it there, and it always feels like the land of opportunity, so I hope to be proved right. Plus I've been dying to go on another road trip, so I'm not sure what will happen but it's been great so far.
Here's where my Si badge used to be

Awesome idea man, I think I am going to do one of those trips maybe next summer when i get some $$ saved up and time off. I need to see something other than the southeastern US.

Yeah, this thread got me inspired. Get a rack, get a bra, get some $$$, take some time off, and see the Grand Canyon.

That is another reason why I like Vegas, it really puts me in the middle of alot in the southwest US. Being from PA it is a huge change of scenery, and besides everything that I am seeing while I drive, I will have a whole new selection of weekend or day trips out west - L.A., grand canyon, phoenix, utah, colorado, state parks, mountains, just a whole new... well... everything I guess.
