Smile Hit 129 at LOWES MOTOR SPEEDWAY in my si

I work for richard petty driving experience and when we got to work yesterday the track was still wet from the rain the night before. so we got about 10 cars out on the track, they say the friction from the tires helps heat and dry the track... well i started about 3/4 of a lap behind everyone so i got to juice it out of the pits, around 1 and 2 and down the backstretch is where i hit 129. before letting off the gas into turn 3. thankfully nobody saw me and i was still about a 1/2 lap behind so i just did about 90 or so till i caught up to the pack who was doing 65. it was quite an experience, the turns have 24 degrees of banking so you really feel the gravity just whooshing you through the turns it was really fun, i wish i couldve gone longer. but i just started working there yesterday so hopefully ill have another shot. i used to drive a v8 so im kinda disappointed with the power up top but it was still pretty fun, the first time ive actually gotten to open it up all the way

Did they not want anyone to go fast? Did they just need the cars out there to dry the track?

Sounds like fun though, Since you work there can you get track time fairly easily?

I'd be in heaven if I could get on a road course with ease
