haha i got mines early haha maybe i ordered before they had to back order it haha i emailed comptech and they said i probably wouldnt get it until june 8th but i got it today didnt install it yet i need to get a torque wrench

I got mine yesterday. It definately takes some effort to get that little blue cap off. I layed down a towel in front of the shifter before I pulled off the cap so it wouldn't fall down into the console. Sure enough, the cap pops straight up into the air, misses the towel and falls in the center console. Luckily it did not go far, it was sitting right by where the cable goes thats connected to the shifter. I just stuck my hand in there and was able to grab it in my first attempt. With that and it taking a couple of minutes for me to get the cap onto the comptech SS, it took me 15 minutes flat to install.
Then it was on to the test drive. Chirp, chirp, chirp is all I heard. Even when I wasn't trying to chirp 2nd, it would do it sometimes. I must have burned two bars of gas just messin around with the short shifter. |
