I can't help but wonder if when, Honda finally realizes the magnitude of this problem, they are going to say "half these people don't really have the problem, they're just joining the bandwagon."

I swear to God, if I get any resistence getting this car fixed to how it should've been from day one after this "fix" comes out, I'm selling the car and never buying a Honda again. That would be the final straw.

you have to expect some resistance when it first comes out... they will adress the worst cases first then the weaker ones next... like some people rairly get the problem... enough for it to be annoying but not enough to disrupt life, others have a notchy feel. then there are the more extreem cases. for example, i had 4th pop out on me 3 times 2nd twice and this was in a one hour span at 2pm.... and later that day 4th refuse to engage alltogether under heavy acceleration....


BUT!!! im going to wait a few weeks before going in. i want to make sure that this fix is real and wont be a waist of my time and their rental..

this is some bs, edmund's SI got problem, road and track's si got problems, ALL OF US GOT TRANNI PROBLEMS AND FUDGING HONDA IS BEING A PUNK BIT#$. As soon as i grow the balls, i will return to the dealership with my si, and if they again say they can't not recreate the problem, or want to charge me to fix it, I'MMA START WHALING ON THEM, I'LL NEEDA BRING A CAMERA, A KNIFE, A FLINT AND CANTEE TO TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS!!!!!!! i'mma go BEAR GRHYLLS ON THEM

got a call from honda today at 12pm...they said my third gear syncros and 3rd gear fork had to be replaced ....the parts will be there monday morning,,they are giving me a rental on monday till whenever my car is finished.....ill post parts numbers and try to scan my recipt from honda....when i get them..also the service adviser said that craig from american honda company says there has been lots of cases with the 3rd gear and the problem is the syncros and 3rd gear fork....so hmc is aware of the problem and this is what they are advising honda dealerships to do....ill keep you updated
