help with new shift knob??

just got the skunk 2 weighted shift knob,i put it on and the gear#'s are upsidedown.....anyone have this problem?????

are you using the locking nut? if not then you have to use something like a rubber grommet or bb pellets in the shift knob to align it.

Use the stock locking nut to make sure the numbers are straight up, and then tighten the locking nut to it. EIther that, or stick BB's into the shift knob until it sits straight.

Is there a DIY for changing the shift knob from stock to Skunk2, cause mine is in the mail. How do you like it otherwise?

iam using the stock locknut....but iam having a problem getting the numbers to line up .....if i use bb's will the shift knob be loose??

To sound like an ass, it's not rocket science.

First put the locking nut in place, then thread the shift knob as far down as you can with the numbers right side up/aligned properly. Then tighten the locking nut UP towards the shift knob. Profit.

i like the added weight its alot better then that stock one
