Why can't I find one even @ $200 here in Orlando?

You want to sell yours or get another then sell it?

I'm assuming your talking about the quick shifter right ? I'm gonna post some pics once i get it and do a DIY . Cause i'm sure people think I'm BSing , so once everything is set i'll put in another order and see what happens. If i get another one i will PM you and if not i'll just ebay it

Thumbs down

oh we all believe you... we just cant believe the crap thats happening here in Orlando ourselves.

Angel's got a Mugen Si & he's tried ordering parts with nothing but "ohh i have to get this approved before i send the order out" even tho we ALL know its a real Mugen & that he purchased the goddamned thing from OUR dealership. its frustrating as hell man. i tried to order stuff under the VIN before it was any1's & i had the orders placed... the credit card swiped. then 10 minutes later, im being given a credit refund & told they cant do anything about it.

so back to Angel's dilemma, they are talking about how only Honda can install the Mugen parts on his car & he can't touch it & whatnot. weak.

wonder what it is with this region of FL. others on the this site that dont even OWN a Mugen or KNOW any1 with a Mugen are ordering parts left & right as if they were just regular OEM catalog stuff. i dont get why the loopholes arent closed or arent OPEN here in O-town.

so aggravating.

Why not just order it from another dealership?

I really don't know why this is such as issue with the dealers down there. I was told from my parts guys its a control item etc etc , which is understandable. From what i understood is that all they really did was type in the vin for the requested item, under comment whether dealership item or customer item . All of my items have been coming from Ohio not sure where the main warehouse is in that region but i think this is rediculous. Like one of the members said they don't want a Mugen Si but just some of the parts , apparently honda is making it more exclusive for mugen parts in the southeast

that's awfully high. im sitting here looking @ my quote/receipt @ employee price that was immediately refunded to me months back...
Mugen Quick Shifter
================
$265.00 list price
$198.75 employee sell price...

Mugen shift knob
=============
$141.39 list price
$106.04 employee sell price...

my only guess is that pricing for the Mugen parts has experienced a sort of "inflation" LOL & went up.

There is no other loop hole besides a friend who owns a Mugen SI. Swap parts but you pay up the ars for labor and installation + parts. :)

Anyway in the end it's not worth it. Give it a few more yrs and Honda will careless. You just have to pay more for Mugen parts.

Did you have a SS on your EP3? I had the Neuspeed adapter then that got quickly replaced as soon as the BCSS came out for the EP3. From personal experience it's sooo worth it to get a full replacement SS then some cheesey a$$ adapter & I don't give a fack which adapter(Comptech, Corsport or TWM)you're running. I have the Comptech myself but that will be for sale as soon as I can get the Mugem Si SS for my FA5.
