Smile Sedan Si Owners....do you ever REGRET getting the Si-dan vs. the Coupe?

or is it usually always the other way around? The reason I ask is b/c I'm really starting to lean towards the sedan Si - it definitely has a more mature look, while still looking very sporty for a 4-door.

Any regrets w/ the Sedan? Any wish you could go back & get the Coupe instead?

Also, what color of sedan did you go with?

No regrets here. Fiji Si-dan. I actually traded a coupe in for it.

I never considered the coupe...4 doors are a necessity ( 2 kids, and occasionally picking up a client at an airport and driving a few hundred miles). I waited for the sedan version for a year, delaying a new car purchase until early December 2006.

I selected Galaxy Gray Metallic for a subtle, non attention-attracting color.

IMO opinion the sedan looks a lot more refined and smarter than the coupe...

NHBP sedan here. I originally had my heart set on the coupe but when I actually looked at them side by side, I liked the lines of the sedan much better. The rear profile of the coupe looks odd to me. And four doors, a canyon of a trunk in a sporty package sealed the deal. No regrets whatsoever.

i do not regret buying the sedan over the coupe at all. I like both having 4 doors and the looks of the sedan especially the back. We also have more jdm options.

I do however sometimes question if geting NHBP was the best choice. But when i wash and wax the car, that doubt goes out of my mind.

this has been discussed b4.

when u got family...or u wanna just drive ur friends around, cause they are more important than u.....only then u get the 4 door.

plus, it has 4 doors....but lower front room than the coupe, and the rear room is debatable.

All have been discussed.

The Sidan has greater availability. Whereas the coupes dont, and thats why u see more coupes on the roads and not in dealerships.

Given all the points above, most of the coupe owners on 8th still regret getting the 2 door and are now on drugs.

e60deluxe and nayilsi are the only ones who are happy with the coupe, and think the Sidan is not that practical.

my apartment parking lot has mine (NHBP fg2) and a GG Sidan. The coupe manages to turn heads, the Sedan just turns mine, cause I go OH LOOK SI.

No kids yet. Had a FBP Si coupe and switched it for another FBP Si Sedan to prepare for kids. But I actually started liking more then the coupe once I started driving. The 4 doors and the extra interior space is great to have, whether you have kids or not. No regrets here.

I traded an Integra GS-R coupe for a Sedan and I have no one to ride around in the back and I still wouldn't change a thing about the decision.

The only thing I use my back seat for is my backpack.
It is a hell of a lot easier to open the back door to put in/take out my bag than using the trunk or passenger seat.

I wouldn't trade my 4 door for a new 2 door.

I bought the sedan for practicality. Although I like the front end of the coupe and back end of the sedan, that will soon all change when I do a csx front end conversion. I test drove both the coupe and the sedan and I like having the two extra doors. I specifically got galaxy gray so I don't have to wash it and hide the dirt.

Front of the sedan turns me away. Also the HFP lip kit on the Sedan looks like ass IMO. The coupe is just much sportier for me. Also, I do not like being a taxi. I had a 4 door car for 2 years and all I did was taxi people.

Friends or family: "Hey let's take Jon's car, it has 4 doors"

Me: "Dammit"

As opposed to

Friends or family: "Let's take someone else's car, Jon's car is too small"

Traded in a GG LX Coupe for a NBP Si Sedan. Never happier.

I didn't want to buy the "same" car again. That was one factor. At the time, I also thought the coupe's wing was too aggressive but now I wish the Sedan's was the same or more similar. There's not even any clearance between the trunk. I really like the Mugen USDM wing and hope to get that some day.
