Spotted - Si Coupe "Student Driver" car

Okay, first let me say:

However, this morning on the way into the office I spotted a Ralley Red Si Coupe with "Student Driver" plastered in large vinyls on both sides, as well as other artwork for some driving business.

I wish I could have snapped a picture, but, alas, I was a bit busy driving...and in shock

Yes, it was an Si, not an R18.

Posting up in the Vegas thread for others to be on the lookout.

Now that's a student driver car! There is a driver's school where I live that has used a WRX, so I suppose they could use an Si too. Nice to see a school teaching people with a manual transmission.

Let me think back 20 years. My student driver car was a late 70s Ford Fairmont and my driving instructor was my English teacher who chain smoked throughout the whole lesson.

Wow, what a joke.

I had a Ford Taurus as my student driver car.

I can see a DX sedan, but an Si coupe?

I thought they wanted kids to get used to driving "bigger" cars.

mine was an OLD buick lesabre. The guy chain smoked too.

We'd "drive to the store", where he'd go in and do his shopping while we waited in the car. We'd even "go to his place" so he could let his dog out while we waiting in the car...

Oh well, it was fun!

An SI for a student driver? lol. My student driver car was a Corolla and the lady had me waiting for her outside of her boyfriends house. It sucked.

My wife told me she also saw that car a few days back. Again, near where my son's daycare is. Must be local to that area.
