Shift boot falling apart?

My shift boot is coming apart at the top, just under the shift knob. Anyone else?

Im not surprised, that thing is cheap and ugly. If u lived near Chicago, id give u my old boot.

I bought a EK9 boot--very nice $35, or jdmland.com is selling euro ctr boot.

Check it out.

I only used my stock boot for about 3 weeks. No wear on it at all.
