Video Overview

1st part : Checking Exhaust sound outside
2nd part : Checking sound in tunnel
3rd part : Racing a stock Evo from 30 MPH (Evo was in 3rd gear and Civic in 2nd) to about 100 MPH

i bet it would be even faster if you had your stock intake on their. i dynoed the difference between having your stock intake and running with the bottom of the air box disconnected, no matter what what combo the car would loose about 10whp because of all the turbulence around the MAFS. just try it one night and i bet your will gain some tq and hp back.

Are you talking about the difference between the stock intake vs. the short ram or the stock intake vs. the cold air intake? If I remember correctly, you dyno'd the CAI. Did you put the stock box back on it? That's interesting stuff...hmmm...

i believe he is talking about the stock intake fully assembled, verses the stock intake without the resinator assembly attached.

The car has a great exhaust sound. How much is a test pipe is it something that I would need to get custom cut for my car? Did you also install a exhaust defouler.

So you used a DC Sports Cat Back exhaust instead of the Axle back. I think I seen your Dyno on another post.

So why'd you not put the entire CAI on? The RSX-S's fair better with the CAI than the SR, so if you are indeed losing power, I understand why now.

Oh, well in that case, he should've known he'd lose power

Best civic video yet. Nice sound. and way to keep up w/ the evo that cost roughly 20k more than your civic.
