thats really up to you, what do you want to do with your car, make performance better? make style better? make the handling better? maybe some of each?

our engine bay is so small and makes it so hard to do any major mods.

volkswagen has done the turbo/super thing. I think it is a little(1.5) engine but cranks out like either 150 or 160 horsepower. I think it is called the fsi engine. The superchargers' pulley disengages at a certain rpm and the turbo takes over from where it leaves off.

for 5k, get tint ( your burning arms will appreciate it ), some suspension parts ( makes the car more fun to drive in the twisties, as if it wasnt already fun ), and some lightweight wheels and save the rest until after the warranty expires. afterall no one likes the s/c civic to die on them and have to pay 3k + to get a new engine. and by new i mean jdm used engine.

My car has been payed cash and the warranty doesn't really matter for me. I want tune it to hit low 12s. And it is not my daily driver. I bought it because it looks and feel amazing.

powerwise: Hondata IMG, P2R tb spacer, TB gasket, DCRH, catback exhaust, Comptech or Redshift S/C.

suspension: coilovers, rearsway, motormount inserts, torque dampener, lighter wheels and sticky tires,

drivetrain: lighter flywheel, shifter bushings, slightly firmer clutch.

i would go with:
1.tint
2.intake/exhaust ( more or less about $1000)
3.coilovers (1000-1500)
5.wheels

with $5000 u should have enough to buy really good parts, so don't be cheap and try to get other mods lol
and if u plan on doing any kind of racing and such, i might even try to look into getting new brakes (aka brembo)
