350.1 miles to the Tank ---SI Sedan

Pretty darn good! Took 10.707 gallons to fill it up. By my calculations that's 32.69 MPG. There are some inconsistencies at the top of the tank (when to stop squeezing gas into the tank) but I normally stop the first time the pump handle clicks off. About 85% highway driving and I usually hit the VTEC fun zone at least a couple of times a day.

Mod, shouldn't this be moved to the SI forum?

Most mileage per gallon I ever had was 37. I posted the trip meter and gas receipt a while back.

Best so far is 363 on 11 gallons of straight highway driving. That was my second tank of fuel.

I still don't have 1,000 miles on the car yet.

Doesn't the car have a 13 gallon tank, wow you ran it down to fumes! I usually take just over 11 gallons when I fill up and that's with the low fuel light on.

Damnit! The best I did was on this very tank, 320 miles. I need to stop for some V-Power on the way home. I've noticed that I get WAY better gas milage when I have to use the highway a lot (duuuh, right? lol) but I can't get anything over 320...how do joo do it?

I've never had a car that redlined at 8,000 RPM before. If any of my previous rides would have gone anywhere near that point, it would have been nuclear meltdown!

With that being said, I'm still getting my feet wet with really winding this up. I hit the VTEC range a few times a day, but I don't live in it.

I don't know, sure its fun to crack it open and let it go, but I didn't really get this car for that purpose. I wanted something good on gas, stylish and "fun to drive".

If I would have been looking for a "sports car", I would have bought an Evo, STi or an 03-04 Cobra.

Use the highway whenever possible, stay out of VTEC, use the highest gear possible, stay out of VTEC, use the cruise whenever possible (highway of course) and stay out of VTEC. :)

Seriously, to get those kind of numbers you almost have to be strictly highway driving. If I could average over 32-33 MPG in the city with this car, I would crap a golden egg!
