Ok the prototype is done. It is at the warehouse that does the carbon fiber products being finished. They are also working on a slight re-design of the battery relocation tray. I believe it needs an extra bracket they said. It should be about 1-2 more weeks.

the battery relocator is done and still in raw metal. when they mass produce them it will be powder coated and nicer than the original. the final mold of the intake is done they just need to incoperate the maf sensor.

I've tried reading the whole thread, but if I missed over my answer i apologize. I have the injen CAI right now and it looks like the password JDM intake may be worth it to switch over to. I love my CAI, but the loss of hp/torque in the low end along with my other mods (which also contribute to this problem) make it a pain to drive stoplight to stoplight. There's just no lowend. From the looks of this, it looks like it will not only gain HP up top, but b/c of the placement of the filter and such, may also help lowend HP/Torque. Am I putting this together right?

which if that is the case i dont see why we cant just buy the DC5 intake and cut the hole out ourselves or better yet if they made a MAF adapter kit for the intake that would be even better.
