so its looking like

2009 will be the mid model change for the si, even though no offical word is out on 08 yet.

the way the info looks now is ex will get a leather option and it seems as though they're holding back leather for the si for mmc...

now i'm debating waiting another year for the mmc... my current car could probably last another year, i'm payment free, which means a whole nother year of saving for a big down payment, and i'd have the most current si.

on the other side i love the way the si looks now, theres always the chance that the changes could ugly it up a bit. and i really want to start driving one! it would be hard to wait another year.

You'll be holding out for over a year. Production of the 09's doesn't even start until mid-Sept 08 (in dealerships by late Sept). By then it would be close to the full model change, and you would just be getting into a Civic. Doesn't seem worth the wait...although I do like your idea of saving money (always a smart idea).

Looking at the last MMC for the Accords and RSXs... I highly doubt they will do anything drastic... both of those MMCs went VERY well and the cars were spectacular after it... that being said... you could also be driving an 07 for a whole other year... :)

Hopefully they learned from the 02-05 Si mistake, and don't change too much, except to keep up the ponies and possibly add HID's for the Si / EX.
