Eliminate Resonator?

I was curious if one were to renove the resonator off an si if it will help and if the it will make the stock muffler sound a bit more deeper and louder, if anyone has thoughts or has tried this post it up, what are your thoughts.

i did, i put 2.5inch str8 pipe from cat to stock muffler, it sounds nice, i think adding hfp muffler would be tits n ass

Megan sells their intermediate (bpipe) seperately from their axle back....this might be an option if you didn't want to replace the stock axleback...not sure if this will fit, but if it did, it would eliminate the need to cut anything.
